About Pastor LUCY Kyllonen
Lucy’s original roots began in New York City, as a Nuyorican, but replanted over 20 years ago to the Tampa Bay Area where she has been in urban ministry alongside her Pastor husband, Tommy Kyllonen. They’ve been married for almost 25 years and are raising two teenage daughters and a canine girl as well.
She is an author and holds a BA in Psychology from Southeastern University and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from USF. Lucy has served in a variety of positions from youth ministry, to conference and retreat planning, to Administration and the past thirteen years as Director of Chosen Women’s Ministry. She would’ve never dreamed or imagined she would be where she is today. God has stretched her in many different ways in various roles including teaching, speaking, leading and mentoring women by influencing them with Godly living, infusing truth and igniting hope in their lives.
She considers herself an ambivert- she loves serving people, but she loves her solo time as well. She enjoys reading, journaling, sleeping & gazing at creation at the beach or on a nature walk. Oh, and she loves snacking throughout the day!
