About Marty white

Marty was raised on the south side of St Petersburg Florida. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior shortly after he turned 18. He co-founded J.A.M.House ministries in 1994, where he helped to organize various outreach programs, events and concerts throughout the Tampa Bay area, includingSidewalk Sunday School in the Jordan Park housing development is St. Petersburg. In cooperation with Juvenile Services Program of Pinellas County, He also helped initiate and run “Hoops After Dark”, a weekly, late night, anti-gang, anti-violence, anti-drug, biblically based basketball outreach program for inner city youth.

In 1997, Marty was invited to join the largest non-profit Christian ministry to children in North America, Metro World Child in New York City. For the next 12 years, Marty would work with Metro World child, personally ministering and speaking to more than 4000 children in various services every week. He would also help with the writing of children’s Bible Lessons and curriculum for use internationally.

In 2009, Marty was led to return to the Tampa Bay area, where he continued to minister to young people both inside and outside of the church. He worked with New Life church of Pinellas Park to develop their children’s program and also worked as an activator for Crossover Church, starting and running Crossover’s first Sidewalk Sunday School Program in 2016.

Marty enjoys Illusions and magic tricks, which has earned him the nickname “Magic Marty.”

Outside of the church, Marty has worked as youth care worker for a youth crisis shelter, a live in house parent for a therapeutic group home, and as Juvenile Probation officer for Pasco County, Florida.

Marty and his wife, Jeanine are therpuetic foster parents with two adopted daughters.

He currently serves the Director of Crossover Kids, the children’s ministry of Crossover Church.
